System Description
The SLD302-Airone launching system is designed to protect the area surrounding ships
or strategic locations against underwater intruders. The SLD302 Airone can be supplied with
a Command & Control Unit able to drive up to 10 launchers* at the same time. Each launcher
consists of a stationary Launching Unit and a kit of 4 Ammunition barrels housing 2 Depth
Charges type DC103 each. The pressure wave generated by the charges explosion is enough
to cause severe damages to underwater intruders.
