Main Features
Interoperable with all ROVs - Safe to deploy - MIL-1316 compliance - Easy maintenance
Over 1000 in service
System Description
The CM102 - ECP is an explosive cutter designed to be used during countermining operations
to cut moored mines chain and ropes. It can be installed on any Remote Operated Vehicles
(ROV) by means of dedicated mechanical interface. The CM102 - ECP has a negligible
magnetic signature and has been proven, during mine clearance operations. When the cutter
is clamped to the chain to be cut and all safeties are removed an arming delay insures safe
recovery of the ROV before firing of a shaped charge. A float provides positive buoyancy
to insure the maximum effect.
